VBP Roundtable "Improving patient care - Supporting resilient health systems", 7 December 2021, from 9h30 to 12h30 CEST/Brussels' time – Online session
 

Organized by the Value-Based Procurement Community of Practice (VBP CoP), with the objective to discuss the strategic position of public procurement and to demonstrate how the application of value-based procurement contributes to the improvement of health care delivery and resilient health systems.

As introduction to the panel discussion the following three documents are suggested for pre-reading: ABHI report "Supporting Value-Based Decision Making", the opinion of the EC Expert Panel on effective ways of investing in Health on "Public Procurement in Healthcare systems" and the policy paper from the European Alliance for Value in Health on "Health systems after COVID-19 - Building resilience through a value based approach".
